My husband and I found it to be just okay. We only tried the light roast, very mild and weak. We are dark roast coffee drinkers, so this was pretty tame. We’re hoping the French roast one will be more to our liking.
Seriously. I was expecting something rich and satisfying with a nice aroma. What I got was something that was not quite as good as a cup of coffee made from used 4 day old coffee grounds that had been fished from the garbage. The instructions said tablespoons. I tried tablespoons. I tried heaping tablespoons. I tried double the instructions. First and last time I buy this stuff.
I haven't tried the chocolate yet and don't like the brewed cacao.
I needed to replace my morning cup of coffee with a healthy, and tasty alternative. After doing research on options, I decided to go with Cacao. So which brand to pick…I did some more research and found that the heavy metals that are typically in most Cacao brands, are not in Crio Bru.
After tasting the double chocolate light roast, I am fan.
I mix it with raw heavy cream and MCT oil and it is like drinking a creamy hot chocolate, with the added bonus of knowing how good it is for me.
