My grandkids love this stuff!!

I have long looked for a good coffee substitute. This come close enough that it makes me wish it were better. It’s not a miss. I haven’t found anything that bones closer.

I can’t tell what it is exactly, but it seems like coarse ground cacao beans.

Tried putting a small amount of honey in it as I do sometimes when making Mexican hot chocolate. Won’t do that again.

You have to use 4 tbs per 8 oz to get it up to a normal coffee strength which makes me wonder if some of the cacao has been processed out of it.

Have also put a tbs of coffee in with it. That works ok.

It is a lot more expensive than coffee, but cacao is in short supply these days.

Might buy again, but not sure.

I like the nice wheat-like taste ..mild , similar to coffee but without the caffein bite Maybe sleep better if you drink it ale at night

The product pretty much is what it says. If you’ve never had real unsweetened cocoa before then you’re in for a shock. Follow the brewing instructions to the letter. It is going to be very bitter. If you think you’re getting hot cocoa like your mama used to make, you could not be more wrong. What you can do is pour it over chocolate chips or use sweetened condensed milk or a nice unrefined sugar. Otherwise, you can add it to your normal coffee brew and make mocha. It is rather pricey though.

I don't think the taste (or lack of) is for me.
