Worth buying a French press for, though it brews well using other methods as well.
I have tried the Ghana and Ecuador varieties in French roast and light roast, using a tea infuser, a drip coffee maker with gold filter, and a French press. All of them were delicious; however, the French press was the best, and it's also the easiest to prepare and clean. Before trying it, some of my family members thought it would be hot cocoa with extra steps. It is not. It has a rich cacao flavor unlike anything else.
The Ghana dark roast is my current favorite, though I go back and forth between it, the Ecuador roast, and a mixture of the two. They match the descriptions quite well; this one has a more earthy flavor, while the Ecuador one has a more floral flavor.
The one piece of advice I have for new customers is this: your preference for darker or lighter roasts will not necessarily match your coffee preferences. To me, most dark roast coffee just tastes like ashes. I like light roast coffee. The Crio Bru light roast is good too, but in my opinion, the darker roast richens the flavor tremendously, as well as improving the mouthfeel. I love this stuff.
