Ordered the sampler pack on 3 January 2023. On 11 Jan I reached out for shipping status via FB. Crio quickly responded that they had just shipped! In fact, a shipping label had just been printed ... most probably because I had "reminded" them that they had not shipped yet. The pack was shipped using (probably) the SLOWEST possible shipping method as it was not scheduled for arrival until 19 Jan. On 20 Jan I received an email asking me how I like the sampler pack, but the delivery had been delayed so I had not had the chance to try it yet. I finally received the sampler pack on 20 Jan, 17 days after placing the order and 9 days after reminding them that I had placed the order.

The good: ALL of the dark roasts are good (3). I will probably be buying them again.

The bad: ALL of the light/medium roasts are not worth purchasing. After brewing they taste watered down and not nearly flavorful enough.

Bottom line: If you want to try brewing roasted cacao, try a DARK roast. If you do order from Crio, be prepared to be forgotten and for your delivery to be delivered by mule train. Save yourself the aggravation and order from Amazon!

Didn’t know what to expect. Smelled awesome. Tasted great. I used a French press. I shared it with my sister who used a percolator and it did a nice brew. I am going to try a few other ways to brew the cocao. I’ll definitely buy some of my favorites later. Uber dark And double chocolate were my favorites. Glad I tried it. Told and shared with my family and they were as impressed as I was.

Chocolate without the calories! Perfect for after dinner dessert/coffee.

I rarely ever give a 5 star rating on any product! It really has to be life changing! My 4 star rating indicates fantastic! This sampler and French press does it all for now! I have tried brewing and using a tea ball for the cacao, but the press is it! If you really want to enjoy thdd we full flavor of this coffee/ tea alternative, use the French press with your favorite or new flavor from Crio Bru! I highly recommend this! Live it!
