In April 2026, I both this product and was excited to try it out, but also a little scared. I felt the directions that accompanied the pot were a bit vague, and this caused me to put off trying it. Instead I kept making my brew with my French press.

Today I screwed up my courage, watched some good videos that gave me more information, and gave it a try. It worked, but unfortunately, steam and water leaked from the space between the water receptacle and the top brew container--about 2 oz. of the 16 by the time the brew finished. 2 oz. remained in the bottom part after brewing was complete. the finished product was tasty.

I contacted the team and was informed I had used the pot correctly, that it shouldn't leak, and that I should not use it again, but unfortunately, I had waited too long and the 30 day warrantee had run out. Their reply was informative and kind-- but very disappointing. IMHO, a product like this needs a longer warranty. 🤔

So, if you buy one of these, heed my warning--try it out immediately. Any problems--let them know promptly.

A little smaller than I was expecting but should work out fine. It is a gift.

The handle of ours broke off after a couple months it the pot seems ok but the handle is cheap plastic.

I enjoy a shot of espresso in the afternoon, this pot is easy to use whether it's the Crio Bru Brewed Cacao or my favorite coffee. Especially if I'm RVing!
