Tried the sampler pack. Great chocolate smell to the grounds, like hot cocoa. Flavor of light roast very deep chocolate taste without the sugar. Can add sugar if want
Tried mixing half with a nice light roast about 8 oz coffee 8oz Crio brew, created a full body mix that was delicious would highly recommend.
I didn't care for the french press. If you let the cacao drink steep for 10 minutes before you stir and press, then its gone cold and i have to heat it in the microwave. Id rather brew it. As for the taste, its so-so.
It was worth trying but it isn’t great.
I started out purchasing the Welcome Kit and liked it so much that I bought another bag of Double Chocolate plus the Sample Kit to see what other flavors I might like. I haven't noticed much difference between each flavor, except for Highlander Grogg, which has a bit of a different taste that I really like. I will definitely order more!
