Not for Crio Bru

This item works great for coffee but should NOT be used for Crio bru. The filters are too tiny for crio bru. A lot doesn’t get pushed up for drinking. You’re left with a lot still unfiltered. Also, hard to push the filter down because the holes are too small for crio bru. It needs a larger filter to get majority through and then the second filter be smaller holes to capture what’s left.

No grinds in my drink.

It comes in very handy at work. No grinds , keeps hot. Wished it held a little more than it does

works great!

i’ve used it a few times, and every time i thought it worked great! i really like it because i can bring my crio bru to work without it getting cold during my commute. only thing i would mention is that this thing keeps your liquid very warm, so the first few times i tried drinking out of it i definitely burnt my tongue haha so just be conscious of that. it was also pretty easy to clean and it was decently straight forward to put together. honestly, for the price and everything, i think it’s a pretty good product, it seems like it’ll last me a long time.

Better for Coffee, Not Good for Brewed Cacao

I used to make Crio Bru in a traditional French Press and the results always came out great but I broke it so I bought the Espro Travel Press based on the reviews I found here, and I'm honestly quite surprised by how high the ratings are. I've had the Espro Travel Press for a few months now and I've never been happy with it. The problem is ground cacao isn't ground as finely as coffee grounds so the press doesn't strain the liquid through the cacao grounds. I've had to forcefully push the press down in order to get the liquid out and its sometimes caused spills. Also, like someone else said there is always a lot of leftover liquid left in the basin so it doesn't produce a full cup. I've used the Espro Travel for coffee and the results are much better.
