Unexpectedly delicious

I purchased the sampler starter set with French press. The value was immediately clear. The press is high quality…something you’d buy in-store for the price of the whole set. The samplers are great, yielding about three full press servings per pack (32 oz each serving). I’ve only tried two flavors so far, but they were both fantastic. Not ‘hot chocolate’ but something more decadent. Gives me the coffee feels without the con’s of coffee caffeine/acidity.

For reference, I have a low tolerance for the type of caffeine in coffee specifically as well as GERD that is aggravated by its acidity. I love it, it doesn’t love me. This is a fantastic alternative. None of the negative ‘side-effects’ I typically experience.

Where has this been all my life?

I’ve tried so many coffee alternatives and none of them have come close to having the “body” of coffee. Because of that I was skeptical of this product but I’m so glad that I finally decided to try. As soon as it was done brewing and I looked in the cup I could tell it was different. And sure enough it has the same consistency and a very slight bitterness like coffee, not watery or grainy like other alternatives. It doesn’t smell like coffee but it has its own warm, roasty, chocolatey scent. Added some cream and it was perfection. I love it. I brewed it in a Ninja Coffee Bar coffee maker on the “rich” setting.
