I was excited to get my 2 packages of cacoa ordered but it was disappointing. The first time it was late so I scooped some into my k-cup and it was watery. Next time I used my French press and hoped for a great rich delicious flavor. It has a faint smell of chocolate but more like fertilizer. I will keep my one package I opened with the hope I can grind it finer for a better flavor but it was not was I expected.

I have had fresh and cooked/dried cacoa beans when I was in the Dominican Republic - didn't taste like that at all. It's a shame because I had high hopes but it sounded better than it actually was. I will contact customer service to send back the unopened package.

Great taste

I have enjoyed my crio bru, just wish it was more affordable... and stronger. I find the best way to brew it is to put it in water and let it sit 10 mins, then boil it on the stove and simmer another 10 mins. Then I let it sit a minute or two more before pouring it through a mesh strainer. That's the only way I can get it strong enough for my taste. But boy oh boy, it's GOOD!

Pleasant flavor, nice aroma, great hot, cold, somewhere in between.

New to brewing chocolate but a huge fan!! Ecuador is my absolute favorite. Ghana is good but double chocolate is definitely our #2. If you are on the fence, just do it!!! You won’t be sorry!!
