Wishful Vanilla
First, let me say I am an absolute vanilla fan; I just love it. I also love Crio Bru. What I was hoping was that this Limited Edition flavor would join the perfect chocolate flavor with a strong vanilla presence, but that is not what I found. While the Vanilla Light Roast is good, it lacks the bold vanilla flavor I was hoping it would have. It is otherwise a fine flavor, not bitter, good with cream, or cold. I will enjoy the rest of this bag, and will even consider buying it again when it comes back into rotation, but it is not my most favorite flavor since the hint of vanilla is not pronounced.

Delicious
I have been buying and telling people about CrioBru for several years now. Maybe 4 or 5 years. Wow, time flies. I first tried the original Double Chocolate Light Roast. I still love that and keep going back to it, but I will tell you that this Vanilla Light Roast is a close second. It sounds odd to me to add vanilla to chocolate to enhance the flavor, but it does! While it intensifies the wonderful chocolate flavor, it also stands out with its vanilla notes that makes a nice change from the basic chocolate. I think I will always prefer the plain Double Chocolate, but I have also become a fan of the Vanilla Light Roast as well. I do enjoy trying their different flavors from time to time. I’m glad I tried their different Vanilla Light Roast. I think I need to go get me a cup right now.
