Unexpectedly good

I held off learning to drink coffee until the Air Force taught me (you want water? there's water in the coffee). Then, I started enjoying coffee, in a range from Turkish, to bold dark roast, and to the softer range of flavorings with milk, cream and oils. Thinking Crio Bru might fall in those brackets, yet still be a little different; I was not disappointed with my first brewed cup. Thanks, Crio Bru.

Dark

I used the product as a pour over but felt I needed to grind it finer. Then I used a percolator. It was much more flavorful. I can’t drink coffee anymore so this is a wonderful delight to replace it!

I was totally underwhelmed!

I was so excited to try an alternative to my coffee “fix”, I did not care for the aroma or the taste of the ground cacao. It’s a preference thing, the packing , and the product atr all 1st class. I just happen to not be drawn to the flavor or the aroma.

I really wish that I was.

Makes coffee even better!

I have not tried it alone as of yet. I can foresee myself making it later in the season when it's cooler outside in the afternoon. I'm from New Orleans and make my coffee and chicory in an old fashioned drip pot. I add two heaping tablespoons of the ultra dark to the pot and it makes it so, so smooth! Extremely happy with my purchase.
