Started with the Highlander Grogg and the oat milk creamer. Tastes amazing. I also enjoy it black, like si do my regular coffee. Highly recommend.
The chocolate smell is amazing, and I love how there's no caffeine and it still wakes me up. However, I have to do four tablespoons of cacao grounds with the 8oz in order for the coffee not to be so watery. Additionally, I have to add some monk fruit in order to really taste the chocolate flavor. That's with the 4 tablespoons, which is frustrating since it means the coffee will go quicker. Other than that, I'd buy it again. My favorite parts are it's chocolate and keto being that I'm on the keto diet
I can't say it's "all day energy" but with a cup after breakfast I'm not dragging at 10:30 like when I have coffee. I still drink coffee most mornings, the cacao doesn't have the quick wake me up effect. I also noticed my pulse has dropped 6-8 when I've taken my blood pressure readings after 4-5 days of drinking the cacao. It's good, I like the taste. I make it with the wire mesh basket method.
There is a good amount of product in each sample bag. It is easy to brew, I mixed with ground coffee in my French press and I really enjoy it. I give my coffee addicted neurons what they want, but am able to reduce the amount of total caffeine as it just isn't effective for alertness anymore. The addition of theobromine does provide a gentler, more sustained boost to my energy that is noticable for me.
Terrific noncoffee drink, love this. In one week I sleep better, no caffeine withdrawal whatsoever, delicious too.
