The aroma coming from the just opened bag was intoxicating. Such a rich, bold taste without any bitterness. I tasted a pinch of the grounds before brewing, and the flavor was amazing.
I unfortunately used too much water when I made my first pot! But even watered down it had a creamy flavor using my 2% lactose free milk. I started with the double chocolate and will try the chocolate/PB next. I do think using 2/3 cup of 'coffee' grinds is a lot for only up to 4c of 'coffee' to drink, especially when the bags are small. But I'm not a big drinker so I put it in the fridge to have as a cup of ice 'coffee' in the morning.
Absolutely delicious. This has the most richest flavor. Very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend.
I like the Double Chocolate coffee, it is like drinking a non dairy hot chocolate. I wish it was a little darker or stronger. I brewed it on strong and poured it back over the grounds twice, that made it a little bit stronger, but still tasted like watered down hot chocolate. Still very good, and like it and its benefits more then regular coffee with all the coffee side effects. I just tried the Mocha today. I do not care for the mocha flavor. Is there a stronger dark chocolate flavor you can recommend?
The aroma was wonderful . At first the taste was mild and become more flavorful after the next sips. A nice treat without the sugar or caffeine. It tastes similar to a dark chocalte.
