Cons: wastes the Cacau—it takes over a cup of grounds to brew one mug, adds a strong paper taste when using the Chemex filters, clogs up after one pour and will not accept any more water…
I enjoyed using the coffee maker, however the eight cup classic is way too large for my use. All in all, it is a nice sturdy carafe and performed nicely for brewing pour over cacao.
Awesome! Just need brush to clean bottom carafe.
This makes fantastic coffee; but, Crio Bru clams it works with their products also. This isn’t true. The paper filter plugs up before the water drains completely true (just like paper filters on an automatic coffee machine). The product is well made and does make fantastic coffee. So, I gifted to my daughter for her to make coffee in. So far, the only way Crio Bru works is via French Press.
