I GOT THE FRENCH PRESS STARTER KIT, ONE FOR ME AND ONE FOR MY MOM. ME AND MY MOM BOTH LOVE THE FRENCH PRESS. IT CAN BE A LITTLE BIT AWKWARD PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER, WHEN I TAKE IT APART TO CLEAN THE SCREEN, BUT OTHER THAN THAT, IT WORKS GREAT, AND LOOKS REALLY GREAT. THEY BOTH WERE MADE OF STAINLESS STEEL INCLUDING THE LID, AND GLASS. HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT..... KNOCK ON WOOD..... LOL

So far I have not had any trouble with my French Press I love using it my Fiancee had told me to get the glass washed with hot water before you put the boiling water in the glass so it will not bust easily it will not shock the glass when the hot water goes in

I purchased this as part of a welcome/starter kit and was happy to see the construction was primarily metal and glass (though the glossy silver lid is plastic.

My primary motivation for a new French press was to get something that disassembles easily for cleaning. To their credit, this press is easy to clean. That's the best thing I can say about this product.

I encountered issues with water getting trapped under the glass (between the metal and glass parts), which quickly lead to the glass cracking when I poured in hot water. This happened on my 4th use. And I only ever hand washed the press and never dropped it. The cracks originated from the bottom of the cup right when I poured hot water in.

Email support with Crui Bro was useless. They un-helpfully mentioned that other customers have had success sourcing replacement parts on Amazon. They affirmed that equipment has no warranty or refund policy and offered a 15% discount on my next order (extra insulting is that they regularly run 20~25% discounts for holidays).

I recommend against buying this product. Similar presses can be found on Amazon or other retailers for better prices and better support.

I love the French Press. Have started using it already and I must say I love the Tall, Dark and Handsome brew. It came in good condition and I am wondering can I use it with coffee also. Neat invention.

We purchased the starter package with the French Press and are very happy with the crio bru. I dislike coffee, but the crio bru tastes chocolatey, so my husband and I can finally agree on sharing the same drink.
